Learn to be your dog's best friend by teaching them essential behaviours that will help them to live in the human world as happy and well adjusted pets. As the dog owner, you will be given instruction by a qualified canine obedience trainer to train your dog to consistently respond to commands including sit, stay, lie down, come here, lead walking, high five and dealing with jumping up.  Participation by the dog owners is essential for effective results. (max 8 dogs in group)

Backyard Bee Keeping bees is a wonderful hobby, but to many surrounded by mystery. This course opens the lid of the honey bee’s hive, enabling the novice beekeeper to understand this complex and fascinating world. We will explore the life cycle of the hive, what happens when the bees swarm and so much more. Join us in this course to explore just what it is that bees buzz about!

Course content: Recognising bees (worker, drone, queen), The hive, Equipment, Seasons (Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring and activities in each), Stings, Swarms, Feeding, Harvesting honey, Pests and Diseases.
