Solid Works is currently used by over 1.3 million engineers and designers at more than 130,000 companies worldwide. Solid Works is a solid modeler, and utilizes a parametric based feature approach to create models and assemblies. Working drawings can easily be derived from the 3-D models. Design intent principles are also dealt with in this course. Design intent is how the creator of the part wants it to respond to changes and updates.

This package has great scope in many fields and would be of interest to those in the engineering and architecture or related fields. (Max. 16 students).
